There is a historic life movement coming to the body of Christ!

To be pro-life is to be pro-child.

Since 1973, the church has protested Roe v. Wade—the US Supreme Court case that declared on-demand abortion as a right.

The church is commanded to stand against darkness, but it also has an authority and responsibility to shine brightly and drive out the shadows.

It’s time for a new, proactive life movement that answers the critics and empowers the church to walk out the mandate of Malachi 4:5-6, turning our hearts toward the children.

Randy and Kelsey Bohlender share their inspiring story of embracing the call to be pro-child. This book will mobilize you to join the body of Christ and:

  • Break the orphan spirit upon a generation

  • Sift through the facts and myths about adoption

  • Play your unique role in raising up the Moses’ in this hour

  • Adoption is the next frontier for those who call themselves pro-life.

Take your place in ushering in this historic life movement!

The story told throughout its pages are sharing the heart of the Father towards the children that so need the love of family. The book does focus more on younger children needing brought in, it would also be encouraging to see the issue of older children being cared for within the church as well. Over all well written and well said.

5.0 von 5 Sternen adoption 27. September 2013
Von Dottie Miley - Veröffentlicht auf
This is a story of a couple that heard the call of God on their lives. They adopted 6 children and had a total of 9 children. God wants the church to take in the fatherless and the motherless. God has made a way for us to heed to His call and save these children from abortion and to be put in foster homes. God will lead and make a way financially for you. God does not want His children to suffer. We can make a difference in the lives of these children.

4.0 von 5 Sternen An Inspiring Story - The Challenge to Embrace the Call to Become a Pro-Child Advocate 24. September 2013
Von Richard R. Blake - Veröffentlicht auf
The Spirit of Adoption: Winning the Battle for Children is a clarion call to the church and its members to stand as a unified body in embracing the call to be Pro-Child. This is the story of Randy and Kelsey Bohlender's experiences after they responded to the call of God to go beyond their convictions - to act on them.

The authors introduce disturbing parallels which demonstrate the political impact of slavery in America during the 1800's with the value of life take by the Supreme Court in their decision of Roe versus Wade in 1973.

A new awareness of the plight of the thousands of orphans in Haiti, after the devastating earthquake in January 2010 dramatically illustrates battle waging over the destiny of children. First, the Haitian government benefit financially through state control of the adoption process. Second, there are the sex traffickers who exploit the children for profit, and third is an awakening awareness of the church to assume responsibility by answering the call to become pro-child.

The Spirit of Adoption: Winning the Battle for Children is a sobering, but rewarding read. Heartbreaking stories illustrate the redemptive benefit that accompany the choice of a full term pregnancy and adoption over the life-long trauma and guilt that accompany abortion. The reader will be better informed, challenged to action, and committed to pray, with a deeper understanding of what it means to be pro-life.

5.0 von 5 Sternen my burning heart must mean it was a good book 9. Juni 2014

I don't think I can adequately review this book but just to say that my heart is on fire to see God's will for every child be done. This book helped me feel the enormity of the call for Christians to help the orphan but yet I don't feel overwhelmed. If we all do a part, small or large, it will move great things for the Kingdom and a child's life. I can't wait to do my "small" big part!
5.0 von 5 Sternen You Can Help! 18. Juni 2014

This book is a great reminder that you can help! There are so many ways to participate in adoption, to support those adopting, and to be a continuing answer to the adoption crisis.
