Smith invites us in the friendliest, most informative ways about the benefits of smoothies. As banned as carbs seem nowadays, they're actually good for our muscles. This book encourages you to look at the amount of contents of every ingredient, not just one or two. Therefore these recipes are kind of amazing because they include the amounts of sodium, potassium, etc.--the things you should be looking at! What's a great plus about this e-book is that it has index for easy access--finally someone making a use of this technology for recipes!

The Smoothie Recipe Handbook is a well written book by an author that lives, breathes and drinks smoothies. Smith does a great job introducing you to all the natural benefits of incorporating smoothies into your daily routine.
Further still, each of the recipes are LOADED with tasty healthy ingredients. They are unique and there's definitely some for everyone. The higher protein ones grabbed my eye.
Bottom line is this smoothie recipe book is only going to better your health and enjoyment of eating. I suggest you grab this book and get to it!

Haven't got past one of the first ones as it is delicious, blends well and the amount do not have to be exact. Do an online search about how to peel a frozen banana, it is much easier that trying to figure it out your self. Careful with the the one with the Matcha tea, I don't think he meant two teaspoons full, it was really strong and the matcha tea is expensive. (Big Lots has a lot of the other items and the price is really good for like the flax, etc).

What a sweet little recipe book! I a big smoothie fan myself, normally I don't adhere to any recipes, I just use recipe books for inspiration and this one worked great for me. I especially enjoyed the second part dedicated to coconut oil recipes, something that I am surely gonna try out. I also like the fact that this author does not preach low carbs or calory counting. I totally agree with him- eat healthy, nutricious food, move your body and you will be fine! No fads!
