Diese Rezension ist von meiner Mutter Anna Rosa geschrieben, weil sie den Buch gelesen hat. Aber sie kann keine Deutsch, so sie hat sie auf English geschrieben.
This novel is set in Spain, 1976.
This fast-moving plot is based on the story about Jame Mirò, a hero of the Basque people, his men, the ruthless Colonel Acoca, an important member of the Spain Government, that Basque rebels were fighting for their freedom, and four nuns of the Cistercian Convent of Avila.
Obviously, I enjoyed this novel and, as other by Sidney Sheldon, had kept me enthralled.
But in my opinion, the writer in this novel has put: as an old Italian Quote sais, too much meat on the fire.
For instance he didn't explain clearly in the latter chapter about the new life of Sister Lucia Carmine, also Sister Megan, that in my point of view is one of the main characters the writer didn't explain fluently about her returning in the USA, or how she got used to her life there. As a matter of fact all Megan's world was upside down in that period .
To sum up, I enjoyed most another novel of the same author, that I had read before this" The Other Side of Midnight.
