This tome is an exceptional example of deep philosophical thinking. His theories might not be all correct (but maybe they are), Harald Maurer certainly deserves to be called a true philosopher more than many others who are known as such. The major part of the book introduces a new model for how mere existence (matter and energy, and all the resulting physical, chemical, biological ... worlds) can be explained. He does not contradict the known physics (his model just puts them on a solid fundament), but he criticizes most of the modern-day "scientific" explanations.
