There is some info on weight and fitness training, then some very basic information on how to play lacrosse. (ground balls, passing, catching etc.)
It also has some decent drills for agility training and warm-ups.
But generally the content is very basic and not interesting. There are no team drills. This would be a good book for a younger player just starting out, or for parents of new players.

This book is a very general exercise guide at best... and even at that there is way to much obvious information. There are pages with photos covering things like a bench press, butt kicks, crunches, pull ups,... you get the idea. The actual lacrosse info is VERY basic; ground balls, holding the crosse, passing, catching,... and the info is (in my opinion) not very good. There are also some annoying things like EVERY checking example starts with the exact same photo (they kept recycling it... you couldn't take a fresh photo sequence for each type of check?)

The book is good if you are not exactly certain how to do a push up... otherwise, don't waste your money as I did.

I wanted to comment on the Lacrosse Bible. I bought the book for my children as they are both in the sport at school. The level of their knowledge of the sport has been enhanced by this book. The author has included all the drills necessary for anybody to learn the sport and excel at it. I would highly recommend this book for anybody with an interest in sports who wants an understanding behind the mechanics of this sport.

First, let me say that this is not a bad book for players looking to design their own workout in the off season. I would give it 3 stars for that.

However, as a coach, I would have preferred to see more lacrosse-specific material--drills and techniques, coaching tips--and less about exercising and working out in general. Weight-lifting and other exercises are helpful for lacrosse players, of course, but if that's primarily what people are after, then they're better off getting a weightlifting or sports training book.
