Produktbeschreibungen

Amazon.de

Suspicion naturally arises when you read a promo line on a back cover that says, "This is the most important book concerning the Great Pyramid written in the last 20 years." In this case, however, it may be fact. In writing The Giza Power Plant, mechanical engineer Christopher Dunn reverse-engineered the Great Pyramid at Giza to discover its use. His startling conclusions blow the heck out of traditional Egyptology's rather silly notions that it was built with copper tools by a society that lacked the wheel. While revisionist pyramid studies are rife with ridiculous theories that give the topic a bad name, The Giza Power Plant takes into account existing fact and artifact without having to rely on unprovable assertions. A must-read for truth seekers who aren't afraid to consider the idea that Western culture of the 21st century may not be the pinnacle of human evolution and achievement. --P. Randall Cohan

Pressestimmen

"Chris Dunn ranks among the top researchers on this subject. His book is extremely well-researched and presented and, although very controversial in content and conclusions, will no doubt become a landmark and classic in the field of pyramid studies."

This book is certainly the best book I have read on the subject. The theory developed by Mr. Dunn is fascinating and seems reasonable. His integrity as an expert and experienced machinist is indisputable. We have to accept the idea that any civilisation that wants to build "something" must have a technology which makes sense i.e. it must be feasible. The demonstration of Mr. Dunn suggests with good reason that the simplistic hypothesis made by some egyptologists that the pyramid was built using primitive methods is based on no evidence and has not been experimented with success. I was amazed with the degree of precision with which the pyramid of Giza was built. The proposed model might not explain exactly the purpose of the pyramid of Giza but I'm sure it goes in the right direction.
I still have a few points to raise such as:
Why is there so many stones lying around the site? When we build a structure, we usually clean the surroundings afterwards. Is it because the purpose of the pyramid was purely functional and the activity of embellishing the site seemed unnecessary?
What is the functional purpose of the perfect alignment of the shafts to Sirius and the belt of Orion? This alignment was well explained in the book "The Orion Mystery" by Robert Bauval and Adrian Gilbert. Could it be that the energy generation of the Giza power plant was aimed at other things than only providing local power of some sort? Could it be that this power has also been used to transmit or capture messages; for communication?
On advanced machining, Mr. Dunn demonstrates that the feedrate of the drill used for drilling granite by ancient egyptians is five hundred times greater or deeper per revolution than modern drills.

Fifty years experience as an accredited field egyptologist and archaeologist, combined with a lifetime of living and studying at the foot of the Pyramids of the Giza Plateau make it rare for my partner, internationally recognized Khemitian elder and Wisdom Keeper, Abd El Hakim Awyan, to get excited about reading a new book on the construction and true function of the Great Pyramid. Christopher Dunn¹s book, The Giza Power Plant, has proved an exception.
To quote Hakim: ³Christopher Dunn has done a wonderful job of explaining the technical aspects of the Great Per Neter (Pyramid). Christopher is a man of strong mind and heart, and is a powerful voice for western ears. It is my sincere hope he continues his work, he is on the right track.²
As for myself, I am not only impressed by the breadth and clarity of Christopher¹s work, I am RELIEVED that it exists. My specialized area of ³Khemitology² is primarily philosophical and spiritual; now when someone who is really serious about the mechanics of the Great Pyramid approaches me, I can joyfully direct them to Christopher Dunn and The Giza Power Plant. They'll be in great hands!

I found the way Dunn described each level of his theory entertaining in that I understand the concepts of machining in today's world. He brings each phase of new information with well thoughtout descriptions so as to provoke the reader to try to understand how truly awe inspiring the tasks would be to machine solid granite. The story takes you through lot's of interesting historical facts of the discoveries made within the Great Pyramid as each new explorer struggled with the sheer power of solid granite and the reasons for it's existence. One can't help but want to see it in person after reading this book. Whomever built the pyramids I'm convinced did it with advanced machinery. I too would ponder what I might be able to discover in Egypt, perhaps remnants of tooling they used to drill into the rock. Maybe Chris Dunn will revisit the quarry or dig around in some forgotten museum and find another elusive clue in the time honored quest to know why and theorize the what for......Get the book and read his theory. You too will experience "Paradigm shift" with regard to "How" The Great Pyramid was built. The best part is his theory why. Power Plant!
Thank you for this book!

You don't have to listen to silly arguments that the Great Pyramid is a tomb, built with copper tools and ramps and other nonsense any longer. As a trained Master Engineer with extensive knowledge of his discipline, the perseverance of a detective, and showing the imagination of a first rate mind, Chris Dunn has given all of us a plausible explanation of what the Great Pyramid really was - a power plant. I believe that it probably served other functions as well - initiatic site, broadcast center, geodetic marker, and mathematical indicator but it was as power plant that the Great Pyramid was primarily built for. In a consistent and analytical way, Chris Dunn shows us the meaning of the granite plug, the Well Shaft, the Antechamber, the Relieving Chambers, the "Air" Shafts, the Notch in the Queen's Chamber and many other features of the Great Pyramid which have never before been explained in a coherent fashion. For any student of Ancient Egypt this book is a must and ranks with Peter Tompkins' classic "Secrets of the Great Pyramid" as necessary for any thinking person who wishes to know the meaning of the Great Pyramid.
