A World Health Breakthrough 22. Oktober 2013
Von J. White - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch
Adrenal Insufficiency is one of the complicating factors that seriously affects our potential for recovery from the debilitating symptoms of hypothyroidism, yet seems rarely to be assessed or acknowledged by clinicians except in extreme cases, as in Addisons Disease.

Paul Robinson's personal journey from serious ill health with Hashimotos Thyroiditis to recovery with T3 medication, involved two decades of diligent research and self experimentation. The resulting discovery was of a thyroid hormone replacement therapy which, when combined with the body's natural biorhythms can support the Adrenals in their essential provision and maintenance of healthy Cortisol levels.

This protocol, named the Circadian T3 Method, changed Paul's life and now, through his careful and methodical documentation of research and discoveries in his books, sufferers around the world have the potential to regain their health and change their lives also.

Within The CT3M Handbook, the Circadian T3 Method is explained in a concise, methodical and practical way and I, like most other thyroid patients looking for answers, read it from cover to cover, savouring every word like a gripping detective novel.

After returning to good health, myself, on implementing the CT3M and T3 only protocol outlined in Paul's first book [[ASIN:0957099312 Recovering with T3: My Journey from Hypothyroidism to Good Health Using the T3 Thyroid Hormone], I have become particularly excited about his new book. The chapter presenting patient's stories demonstrates the real health benefits from the CT3M experienced by those people suffering from adrenal insufficiency and when Paul says - "I believe that for those patients who do not have to take adrenal steroids for life, due to a clearly diagnosed condition, CT3M should be first choice treatment for adrenal insufficiency" - he is absolutely right and I only wish this book had been written 10 years ago, before I started treating myself with "adrenal glandulars" believing there was no practical alternative to improving my thyroid medication efficacy.

I am also particularly excited by implications from reading the patient's stories, that, in the absence of a hypothyroidism diagnosis, adrenal insufficiency itself could produce many similar symptoms and by the implementation of the CT3M alone, patients have been able to recover their health. This is especially relevant to my own family as my husband and 3 children have suffered similar symptoms to my own but always had normal thyroid test results. My son especially suffered badly through his teens and was diagnosed with ME 5 years ago. His symptoms are typical of adrenal insufficiency but when I suggested testing cortisol levels to the consultant, he insisted it was pointless as no practical treatment existed. Now I believe it does.

During my own research I read many books on Thyroid health but none have been as rationally methodical and detailed but retainable for the hypothyroid brain fogged mind, as Paul's and I personally feel that his will always remain the most comprehensive and relevant reference books on my shelves.

I genuinely believe that the CT3M is a world health breakthrough and this book is a very exciting new chapter in thyroid and adrenal health treatment and the potential recovery of many, many patients' and their family's lives.

A Must-Have for Thyroid patients using the CT3M Method 15. November 2013

Format: Taschenbuch
Having devoured Paul Robinson's former book Recovering with T3, and using it as a reference very often, I am very happy that he wrote this CT3M handbook. It is a detailed description of his Circadian Method. This method uses T3 medication in any form ( on its own or in combination with T4) in order to help people with adrenal fatigue/insufficiency. Hypothyroidism and adrenal fatigue often go hand in hand.

As a thyroid patient, who had her thyroid removed and could not find relieve in standard thyroid treatment (read treatment with T4 only drugs containing Levothyroxine), I found the solution in the CT3M method. Without this method I would probably be bedridden, depressed and utterly miserable. It gave me my health and my life back. It was a road that took a lot of patience and determination and finding out other issues that was stopping me from getting back to optimal. The first book was a constant partner in my travel to health and now it's companion is alongside the first book, for me to peruse whenever I need more details or help with specific details about the CT3M Method. I am forever grateful that Paul shares his knowledge and expertise with us, thyroid and adrenal patients.

The CT3M handbook is great in that it describes the CT3M method, which has been described in Recovering with T3, in much more detail. It explains the do's and don'ts, the pitfalls, the underlying conditions that might need to be addressed further in order for the T3 medication to work properly and reach our cells. For thyroid and adrenal patients who take responsibility for their health very serious this book is a must have. Together with the Recovering with T3 book, this handbook is my "Thyroid Bible"!

Potentially Life-Changing for Adrenal Fatigue Sufferers! 3. Dezember 2014
Von NLang - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch Verifizierter Kauf
One of the most useful books I've ever read period. I've been suffering from a "mysterious illness" where life has been drained out of me leaving me severely stressed, fatigued, lifeless ... with no obvious medical diagnosis. Doctors consulted thought I was either crazy or mental. Nothing seemed to help. Conventional medical tests didn't reveal anything useful. Anti-depressants didn't do much. ... I was alone in my fight to recover energy, savage a struggling career, and nurture a young family. The negative impacts on life, career, and family have been indescribable. Refusing to give up on hope, I researched as much as energy and time would allow (read very day/night), I came across this book through other books and thyroid forums' postings. After about 2 months of implementing the author's suggestions, I'm happy to report that my latest 24-hr saliva cortisol tests came back near optimal and even HIGH at night. Astounding. Similar tests done 7 months ago showed results consistent with "Adrenal Fatigue phase 3" corresponding with my constantly lousy feelings. With my holistic MD's help in prescribing NDT and T3 together with the instructions and tips contained in this handbook, my cortisol levels and energy have recovered in conjunction with my MTHFR protocol. I've been given a second chance at feeling better and life. Though recovery is on-going, I can't thank the author enough. Mr. Robinson, your CT3M discovery has done me a great service. I'm sure there are countless others like me. In fact, I bought a copy of this handbook as a gift to my MD who called me a few weeks later to tell me that she'd enjoyed the book and is interested in talking about it at next office visit. That's wonderful!

Outstanding! 16. April 2014

The book is well written. I consider this book a good addition to the Broda Barnes book as well as Dr. Peatfields book. The CT3M approach is interesting and is of much interest to me as I already have sub-par adrenal function and everything I can do to boost it would be helpful. The book has a very useful section that covers many of the things than can derail your thyroid support program which I find is a good sanity check of things you might have missed. So far I'm very pleased with the book and excited to try this guys protocol. What he advocates in his approach makes a lot of sense. His explanation of the protocol and how to adjust it is very detailed. Well done!! This approach makes so much sense, it's amazing no one had considered it before this.

Excellent resource to optimize your CT3M!!! 16. November 2013

The CT3M Handbook is the perfect companion to Recovering with T3. The Handbook reviews the the Circadian Method of using T3 medication for recovery from low adrenal function and hypo-thyrodism. But in addition to this the book details other factors that may effect the success of the CT3M. There is excellent information on needed supplements, possible hindrances and how they might be addressed, labs to have done and how they should score, as well as additional adrenal supports that may be warranted.

I have been hypo-thyroid, under treated for 14 years, and in under three months I have made the most remarkable progress using this method. It has been invaluable! If you still suffer from hypo-thyroid on your Synthroid or other T4 or even NDT, you owe it to yourself to look into the CT3M method.
