This book was like torture to get through. Letter after letter of unbelieveable and often incoherent ramblings actually made me believe less and less about the possiblity of alien life.
Granted, when these people wrote to Strieber they had no idea that they would be published, but it was often difficult to know the sex of the person writing (usually women.) Another annoyance was that none of the writers told of their abductions in chronological order.
It is scary to think that this book is pulled from the best letters of 200,000! Stay away from this book.

This book terrified me. I didn't sleep for a week! The stories are usually believable but sometimes the people who write the letters sound like they belong in an asylum.
