The Book of Aquarius was anonymously emailed into the Forgotten Books web site on March 20, 2011. The book claims to provide full theory and practical instructions on alchemy and how to make the real Philosophers' Stone, capable of healing all disease, reversing the aging process and transmuting lead into gold. A bold claim if there ever was one. By the next day, all of us at Forgotten Books had read through the manuscript, which was submitted as a compressed file of WordPad documents. Although opinions differed, we all agreed that The Book of Aquarius is a fascinating and even entertaining read (some of us were laughing out loud at times), certainly a great addition to alchemical literature, not just on Forgotten Books but in the whole realm of English language alchemical literature available. Such an interesting, objective and no-nonsense book on alchemy has never before been written, yet it somehow fits in perfectly with the older alchemical books published centuries ago. The writing style is not what you might expect; modern and informal at times, but at the same time the words have a resonance of truth about them. But the question remains: "is it true?" I can't say I know the answer. That is for you to decide. The claims are unbelievable, yet the explanations are perfectly logical. The Book of Aquarius is now hosted on the Forgotten Books web site, where the author frequently visits to answer any questions submitted on a forum he has setup with the free hosting space provided by Forgotten Books. Groundbreaking work

This is one of those books, that become an instant classic at the time they go to print. It sounds truly unbelievable at first, what is being promised. But the more I got into it and looked at the historical evidence (lots of it) that the author provides, the more I became convinced that this is note a joke. I came away with the impression that:
* The Philosopher's Stone is real;
* How to manufacture it has been a well kept secret through the ages;
* Once you understand the author's interpretation of the ancient writings, it becomes clear, that this is the correct way to read them.
* The Stone transmutes lesser metals into gold and silver.
* The Stone lets its owners enjoy a biblical life-span.
* It cures virtually all illness.
* Many other mysteries can be explained by it or at least get a new, very compelling angle for speculation ... like the UFO-phenomenon.
* It has become possible - or at least there is a good chance - to recreate the Stone in our lifetime. Everyone can do it. All you need is some time, patience and a minimum alchemical lab, which is very affordable.
* If this happens on a large scale, the world will be ready for the next Golden Age.

A must read for any Artist in the Work. Such a straight forward book has never been seen in Alchemy. The Author has broken away from the ORMUS craze and brought us back down to earth with Nature and the Stone. It's very clear when reading the ancients that the Stone is a work and this book walks you through step by step. It is however, a work in progress so do not discredit the Author for errors or incompleteness. One visit to his forum will remedy some questions.
Truly a good sign for humanity as we flee from fear to faith.
