We are introduced to the main character at his lowest point in life - the slave market in Egypt. Potiphar notices the potential of the man, entrusts him gradually with more responsible work, all is well ... until his wife takes an interest in the beautiful young slave.
Of course, we all know the story. This production is refreshing in that it tells it without religious judgement or moral finger: the people involved are just that: people. Believable scenery and simple sets create a feeling of authenticity. The actors enunciate so clearly that you don't need subtitles.
