Stewart Pearce's The Alchemy of Voice is the most extraordinary introduction to the world of Spirit through the medium of sound.
Most spiritual seekers are introduced to Spirit through light. We learn about the chakras and the aura in terms of their colours; spiritual teachers talk about healing in terms of bringing in the "light". What distinguishes Pearce's book is that it shows us how we can access the higher realms of Spirit through sound. As well he might! As he points out in the very first chapter, "In the beginning was the Word!"
There are two features of the book that make it such a wonderful read. First, it has the right balance between theory and practice. The theory is illuminating, at once simple and profound. The exercises are easy to follow. Together they make for a most thrilling exploration of the unseen world of energies and vibrations.
Secondly, it is written beautifully! Pearce is a very gifted writer who is able to combine lucidity with stylistic virtuosity in a manner that is quite rare.
This is a very valuable book from one of the world's leading authorities on the subject. A must-read!

I have always been fascinated with what underpins a great voice - what makes some so luring, attractive, engaging, and magnetic?
Basically... I wanted one.
As I navigated my way through Stewart's book, I felt a sense of coming home. As sense that at some point I knew this wisdom to be true and I was re-membering it. Finally a book that puts all the pieces together, how to combine the "being" and "doing" aspects of myself, through my most creative instrument, my voice, using my signature note to express my whole being in sound, and in doing so enjoying the fruits that come from speaking directly though my heart. If your appetite is poetic, Stewart carries you with his inspired metaphors and stirring stories. If you seek a more functional explanation, he explains it with such ease that you'll be wanting to use your voice right away to transform and enrich your life.
I now see and use my voice as my guide, a true reflection of where I am in my alchemic journey, and a tool to create the life I love both in my business and my personal life
