The book it's okay, then detective novels I don't accept me and I don't interesting for so stories. Many sentences I don't unterstand, because it is very difficulte for me. The best stories were the "Broken Glass", then I understand the message what Patricia Highsmith tells us.

The stories from Broken Glass are written very well but they are less interesting than real stories, because they are fictional and not true. For me these stories are for children and not for young people like me.

First, I found this book a little dull.
The first story "Something You Have to Live With" deals with a classical crime. It is about a woman, who is alone in a house by night and then the bad boys come.
The second little story "A Curious Suicide" is a bit confusing at the beginning, but when you've read a couple of pages, you will realize it's a very crazy and thrilling story.
But I think that last is the best of these short stories "Broken Glass". It deals about an old man who lives in a ghetto and who leads a hard life there. It show the bad side of America which hardly anybody knows.

Not very interesting
