Great Study Guide, Real Score Booster 23. Dezember 2011
Von Amazon Customer - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch Verifizierter Kauf
The book was easy to read and I felt Mike Myers covered the material well. I watched the videos on Professor Messer's website, studied this book along with his windows 7 companion, and almost got a perfect score on the A+. Too bad he doesn't have a book for the 70-680. I would like to add I have 10+ years in PC support and there were still several questions I would have not known or ever needed to know on the A+ exam. I simply wanted to apply for a new job and it required 2 certifications along with a degree and experience. If you find yourself in the same situation you would be crazy not to study. Remember, Mike Myer's and Professor Messer are your friends. :)

Mike Myers All-In-One & Windows 7 makes perfect for passing A+ Exams! 18. Januar 2012

I must if your taking A+ Examinations in 2012. Mike Myers ALL-IN-ONE does not feature much about Windows 7 this is why he has made another book about 150 pages on all you need to know about Windows 7,Since the exams are updated with Windows 7 questions.
The Sybex book did me no good.If you are reading the All-In-One book, you must get this as well.Your chances on passing the exams are very high with this book & All-In-One book.Mike Myers did a great job for releasing this windows 7 book.
My opinion on Mike Myers Windows 7 Book & other Windows 7 books:
- Much understandable than Windows 7 for dummies book.
- Windows 7 Inside Out book is not a bad book at all but does not teach about what A+ Exams will have.
- Windows 7 Missing Manual was an okay book & not bad either.
This book did me good & will you do good for the A+ Exams just what you need to know about Windows 7.
After you finish the All-In-One book I suggest you get this book & read it & this book also features questions & answers in the end & after every chapter to help you pass the A+ Exams regarding Windows 7.
You can pass the A+ Exams!

An excellent companion book to the Passport and All in One (big book).

I read through this book in just 2 days. Was an easy read. As is typical with Mike Meyers books, was not a total bore to read. I love the anecdotal comments/notes he adds in the chapters it to make it more interesting.

This book was very helpful with my testing and covers the new material not included in the Passport or All In One. What I thought was useful in this book, was that it does do a little bit of review of prior windows versions and then compares with the Win7.

Just as another reviewer commented, this book also did peek my interest with Windows 7. I too think I will create a dual boot on my machine to play around with it. Some of the features in 7 do seem pretty cool.

At the end of the day would recommend this book. Passed the 220-701 and 220-702 just last week and couldn't be happier. Big weight off my shoulders. Couldn't have done it without these books for sure. (Also read the Passport and used the All In One Exam Guide)
Straight-forward addition to Meyer's prior work 8. August 2012

Format: Taschenbuch
I always enjoy books written by Mike Meyers - I find them clear, concise, and complete. This small volume is no exception, I read cover to cover over the course of 3 days and now feel extremely prepared for my upcoming exam. What I found extremely helpful was that Meyer's not only described features of Windows 7, but he compared and contrasted them to Vista, Windows XP, and Windows 2000. And when you are trying to study multiple OS's with multiple features/characteristics, it can get rather complicated to remember which Files and Settings Transfer Wizard belongs with which operating system (XP, in case you are wondering). This volume manages to sort and assemble all relevant information. Highly recommended!
Good refresher book or for use to pass the A+ 6. März 2014

When I get this book I had just started my career in IT as a systems technician. It's a great refresher on the basic if you ever one of those "duh" moments. On top of that, this book is excellent to use when studying for the A+ exam. The A+ is pretty difficult now and consists of two exams to get the final certification. I'd recommend this book as a part of your studying for sure but there may be others out there that offer simulators and extra labs if needed that could end up being a bit more helpful in the long run.

For general information this is a great resource and I highly recommend it as an addition to your IT book library.
