a-ha's final single release continues their high-quality output. Morten Harket (the potent 51-year old chap he is) is still able to deliver the incredible long note on "Summer Moved On", their 2000 comeback song. The b-side, "Scoundrel Days", is a personal favourite of Magne Furuholmen and Pål Waaktaar. It's admittedly one of their all-time greats (and should have been released as a single in 1986). This single release is not unmissable, because both tracks are available on the concurrently released "Ending on a High Note - The Final Concert" CD. For any serious a-ha fan, however, this very last single is the perfect bookend for the collection.
They should have included "The Bandstand", though, an excellent track that was left off of the CD/Blu-ray of the concert. For shame.
