It's shocking that the average person wastes 2.8 hours a day procrastinating!

I found this book to be very helpful in that it wasn't long yet it got to the point (thus eliminating the issue of overwhelm, a main procrastination issue).

It's not one of those books that just gives you strategies, but explains the psychology behind why we procrastinate, so you can be aware of the core, underlying issue when you come across it.

A great book in helping overcome procrastination practically.

We are only human after all. Faffing around, playing online is soooo much easier than getting down to the nitty gritty task we don't really want to do. Yet where does it get us? We lose around 1,072 hours a year just bobbing along doing nothing in particular. The trouble is that what needs to be done doesn't get done or doesn't get done so well and we are full of regret.
This book is a very powerful tool in helping you to change your mindset and making it more rewarding to knuckle down to the task at hand. This is an amazing turnaround and I really recommend you read this book.
It has been of great help to me.

I can't recommend this book enough! I literally read it twice in one sitting, the second time with a pen and paper out so I could jot down some really good ideas and tips! Definitely one of those books that will change how you live your life...

This not the secret of the Pyramids, but it is a sensible, readable little book with some good ideas. It features the carrot-stick approach, which is finding ways to reward yourself for doing what you need to do in a timely manner and punish yourself for putting it off. His suggestions are creative, although I will not be burning any money EVER!

I think his idea of breaking down large tasks into small components is an over-looked mechanism. The concept of assembly-line production is over a century old, but we still don't think to incorporate it into our own work style. I know that when I have a lot to do, I make a list and break everything down into tiny increments and then check off everything as I do it. Great motivator!

There are some typos in this book that need to be corrected because they interrupt the flow while you scratch your head and figure it out. Overall, I think it's a valuable little book and should be of help to many people.

Very fascinated with a lot of the concepts, especially the 80/20 rule. This a great book to ready if you have something that needs to be done, your life can change by just reading this book. Very nicely written.
