In this collection of short-stories the classical cardinal sins are connected to certain species that are well-known for their special characteristics.
1. Pride -> Romulan
2. Greed -> Ferengi (very nice title here "Reservoir Ferengi")
3. Envy -> Cardassian
4. Wrath -> Klingon (somebody surpised?)
5. Lust -> Bajoran/Terran/Trill in the mirror-universe.
6. Gluttony -> Borg ("Revenant", lso quite fitting)
7. Sloth -> Pakled.
The sins 5 and 7 concentrate on principal characters from the TV-series, while the other stories go for sometimes known characters (2 & 4) or known framing conditions. All in all a quite well-written collection even though the last story didn't really interest me too much. But the rest is well worth the price.
The baroque rosetta-window on the cover is a very nice touch and shows the seven characters that personalise the sins in the stories.
