That's not saying much but this book was pretty good. Definite page turner for me.

As far as the story goes...it is something of a continuation/revisitation of the first time Spidey and Juggernaut met (20-something years ago). It is set within the current time period and continuation, though. It even includes the first two issues of the old story. Which was great for me since I had never read them. I love the artwork by Lee Weeks. I'll have to be honest that I don't always dig his style, but it was perfect for this book.
I haven't read the entire Gauntlet storyline yet, but I just don't see how this story even fits. I have the Rhino & Mysterio trade also, and Spiderman never really even fights these villains. It's more of an indirect thing. I don't get it. I thought this whole storyline was basically a copy of the Batman Knightfall premise. I guess I'll have to read them all to see how it ends up.
Overall, I give the book 3.5 stars due to the "classic" feel of the story and art. But it feels like Marvel is really pushing this story into too many volumes.
By the way, there is also a side story including some new Lady Scorpion or something like that. It's very forgettable IMO.

Collects mediocre ASM issues #626-629 from Spring 2010 plus two Copper Age ASMs

This collects four mediocre issues (#626-#629) of Marvel Comics' "Amazing Spider-Man" comic book series with cover dates from May-June 2010, plus two older ASM issues (#229-230). #626 is a Fred van Lente story focusing on Peter's roommate Michele Gonzalez and one of her legal clients, plus villains The Hood and the new Scorpion. The artwork from Michael Gaydos resembles colored photographs. #627-629 is a Roger Stern/Lee Weeks arc that seems like a detour from the "Gauntlet" storyline and follows Stern's "Nothing Can Stop The Juggernaut" arc from ASM #229-230. Spider-Man finds the Juggernaut (Cain Marko) smoldering in a hole in Central Park after an encounter with an extra-dimensional character introduced three decades ago. Meanwhile, Peter considers his attraction to NYPD investigator Carlie Cooper. This also includes the eight page "Brother Can You Spare a Crime?" story from Mark Waid, Tom Peyer and Todd Nauck in which unemployed Peter must choose between a job interview and a downtown menace.
