Terrible Book

I purchased this book, (along with another under a different title by a different author), this evening. Not only was I annoyed at the number of typos, I was downright confused when paragraphs dropped off literally mid-word. Couple these problems with minimal useful information and I was terribly disapointed.
Since this purchase was such a bust, I then opened the other herbal gardening book I purchased. To my utter amazement, IT WAS THE SAME BOOK. The Intro was the same. The title on the table of contents, (which does not match either book title), was the same. The typos, grammatical errors, and missing sentences were the EXACT SAME.
This story does have a happy-ish ending. Kindle promptly refunded the cost of the other title (since it is the more expensive version of the same book), and stated they would investigate this issue. My customer service rep was very courteous and helpful. As this was the first time I have had cause to complain, it is very nice to know their staff is so professional.
The only down side is I still need a really good indoor herbal gardening book!

I found Secrets of Successful Herb Gardening to be acceptable as far as it goes. It provides general information on selecting, planting and using herbs. At least for me, I am going to need a larger more detailed book before I begin herb gardening. The book also contains a significant number of typos.

A great guide for the budding gardener

This is a great book for the newbie herb gardener. It is laid out in a simple to understand fashion and takes you through all of the steps necessary to set up your herb garden the right way. It will get you very excited about the possibility of tasting those fresh herbs from your own garden very soon!
