Contains 3 films: KAPURUSH ('The Coward') - Amitabha Roy is a Calcutta screenwriter whose car breaks down during a research trip out in the country. A local tea baron offers him a place to stay for the night, and Amitabha is surprised to find that the baron's wife, Karuna, is the woman he had been in love with years before, and lost because of his own indecisiveness. Amitabha realizes that he is still in love with her, and spends the evening and much of the next day trying to steal moments alone with her to find out what she sees in her boorish husband, and talk her into leaving him. But Karuna remains tauntingly enigmatic until the end. MAHAPURUSH ('The Holy Man') - A bogus Holy Man is adopted by a wealthy man who hopes to find a husband for his marriageable daughter. A poor but honest swain exposes the Holy Man and wins the heart of the wealthy man's daughter. JOI BABA FELUNATH - This is the second film about the detective Feluda set in the holy city of Benares, where he (along with his cousin Topshe and friend, Lalmohan Ganguly) goes for a holiday. But the theft of a priceless deity of Lord Ganesh (the Elephant God) from a local household forces him to start an investigation. Feluda comes in direct confrontation with Maganlal Meghraj, a ruthless trader. Maganlal makes the mild-mannered Lalmohan a knife-thrower's target and threatens Felu to stop the investigation.
