Über den Autor
Frank Radice is senior vice president of the NBC Agency, East Coast, the inhouse advertising and promotion division of the NBC Television Network. Also an accomplished composer and musician, Frank is co-writer of the award winning theme for the Today show. This is his first children’s book, co-written with his wife, Vida. Sam Katz is inspired by their real-life cat, Sam Katz, who is one of the few felines ever to appear in bold face in the Post’s Page Six. The authors (and Sam) live in New York, New York.
Known around the world as the Master of 3-D Pop Art, Charles Fazzino exhibits his original and distinctive 3-D creations in more than 600 fine art galleries in 15 different countries. He lives with his family in Pelham Manor, New York.

The artwork is great, and the captions include lots of little puns and jokes that parents will appreciate.
Your kids probably won't need this tip--but as a dumb adult, I had trouble figuring out what to do with the pull tabs on each page. I kept thinking I was supposed to pull to the right and slide something out. But you need to pull UP and to the side at the same time, to create a 3D effect. The top of the page raises up like part of a box.

Bought 1 for each of my grandchildren

This book is fabulous. I bought one for each of my grandchildren and myself. We live very far apart, but with each having their own book, I can read it to them over the phone and they can follow along on their end. The oldest is 5. The book's creators and illustrator had an imagination that would not quit. What a concept, a cat that is home alone all day decides to enter pictures on the wall and then with wit and rhyme describe his adventures. The pull out feature on the illustrations give you 3D vision of his journeys. This book may surpass Dr.Seuss, if you can imagine that.

Fabulous children's book

This book has to be the best children's book I have seen in some time.
The story is beguiling and the illustrations are quite superb. There is something new and interesting to see each time you look at it. All my little friends, (kids not cats) are delighted with it!!!!!
