I read this book with the hopes that it would help me to increase sales in my small retail business. This book seems to be aimed toward those who conduct direct sales and, while many of the principles did not specifically apply to me, all of the ideas were extremely helpful and can be utilized in my shop. I loved the author's suggestion that work plans and schedules should be set the week or weekend in advance. I have often found that I waste a lot of time on Mondays figuring out what I need to do for the week, only to lose momentum. I also liked the author's approach to coping with, and accepting rejection. In sales this is something I must deal with on a daily basis and the author provided me with a different way to view rejection, and to actually appreciate it. I would recommend this book to anyone who deals with sales in any capacity.

Well as the quote states you should never judge a book by its cover (in this case it is literal), the cover for this book is very basic but the contents are WOW!!! I really enjoyed William's writing style - very captivating!

When I first started working and was deciding which career to choose i remember saying to my family that i didnt like to sell insurance because i didnt like to be rejected.
This is exactly what William discussed in this book - there will be turndowns in the sales industry, use them to improve your skills.

I highly recommend this book to any sales person who is into car sales, real estate, insurance etc. The information in this book will take you to the next level.

I was that sales person who immersed myself in sales advice books, always thinking "great idea, why didn't I think of that" or "great, will implement that from Monday morning" etc, etc, etc.....
I really needed this honest, tell it like it is, proverbial kick up the ass to bring me back to my senses!
Not only did I think about taking the advice in the book - I took it - I quit my job, got a new one at a company I've always wanted to sell for, and with my positive sales attitude and confidence rejuvenated, I broke all sales records in my first week. It's now week 8 and my attitude just get's better and better - I haven't felt this positive since I started in sales 20 years ago!
Read this book and get out there and sell!!!!!!!!
