ELM327 is the latest PC-based scan tool. It supports all OBD-II protocols and is dispatched with a number of compatible programs. The processor is an ELM327. The output protocol (connection to laptop) is USB cable. It is easy to use and very useful to diagnose cars. You can use Mini ELM327 V1.5 in case your car's Check Engine Light is on. Interface is a pc device for reading and erasing trouble code in your vehicles. It can also display live data for your vehicle, competitive in price and easy to use.
OBD-II Software for ELM327 is a free program that allows you to use your PC and a hardware interface to get the information from your car's computer. The program is very user-friendly, easy to learn or to install: simply extract the files into a folder on your computer's hard drive, and you're ready to go. To uninstall the program, simply delete the entire contents of the folder where the program resides.
The software supports two platforms - DOS and Windows.

.. eben doch ein China-Clone des ELM327 mit nicht vollständiger Kompatibilität zum Original.
offene Frage: geht CAN-High-Speed mit dem original ELM327 (nicht nur einzelene Telegramme, sondern auch dicht aufeinander gesendete Transportprotokolle) ?
Für das Geld lohnt nicht mal die Fahrt zur Werkstatt ;)
EDIT: Bei den Bildern hat übrigens jemand was hochgeladen um die "schlechte Qualität" des Moduls zu zeigen. Er hat z.B. geschrieben, dass zwei Pins zu lang seien. Hier würde ich mal glatt behaupten, dass das Absicht ist. Vermutlich, damit das Gerät erst geerdet wird, bevor die restlichen Kontakte eine Verbindung bekommen. Aber das als Mangel zu betiteln, finde ich schon recht schwach. Hier will wohl jemand das Produkt einfach schlecht machen.
Verbindung mit HTC Desire S und Torque Lite hat auch auf Anhieb geklappt.
