The sixth "Road" film in the series of seven, and the only one to be filmed in color, "The Road to Bali," made in 1952 has an aged, dated feel that none of the other "Road" films which preceeded it have. In it, Bing and Bob, who are working their Vaudeville act in Austrailia, find that they must leave in a hurry to avoid marriying a local with whim both had had a fling. When they stumble their way onto a local island, they meet Princess Dorothy Lamour and her evil cousin. Hope and Crosby then do some Deep Sea Diving to find some elusive treasure. Along the way, they get rid of the bad guys, sing a few songs, and, of course, one of them get Dottie. The film is bland and the print from which the video is made is a little sketchy in spots, but if you are a fan of these films and have not yet seen this one, you might as well go ahead.
