Real Relationships:From Bad to Better and Good to Great 4. August 2011
Von Doreen Blair - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch
I was privileged to receive this book free as part of Zondervan's review program.
Do you have relationship issues? Do you have a problem keeping friends" Are all your friends just "new" friends and really not last too long? Do you have problems relating to others and being a loyal friend?
Then, this is the book for you. Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott use their own personal experiences, their giftings and their education to help guide them into writing this well written book full of insights and thought provoking exercises.
Each of us long to belong and we spend much of our time trying to figure out how to belong. However, we will never really belong until we find our belonging in our loving Father and our relationship with Him.
This book comes with access to an assessment online to help you. Are you a "Listener", a "Doer", a "Talker", or a "Thinker"? You will be able to figure that out and then better understand yourself and others.
I highly recommend this book. It would also be great for a small group study.

This book has been used at our ladies group. It has amazing points & discussions. Simple things you do not think of in your everyday life. Our group has truly thought this book has been one of the best reads so far!

Shipping was super fast too!
Cold and lacking humanity 4. September 2014
Von Scott - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Taschenbuch Verifizierter Kauf
For what I was looking this was not the book, although I was able to take away some good points. Had I been 18-19 this would probably have been a better read. I did find it a bit impersonal in its approach with dealing with people because it seemed to just dismiss whomever once there was any given reason. Overall it seemed a bit cold and lacking a sense of compassion.

Encouraging book regarding relationships. 17. November 2013
Von Tara S - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verifizierter Kauf
I thought it was a very positive book in many ways and gave pointers for improving relationships. The authors did not seem to intend to make anyone feel bad if they were not good at relationships and it seemed like they thought anyone could be good at relationships. They did not go to the "dark side," much, which was okay, I guess as that was not their emphasis. All in all, I thought it was very encouraging book and I want to take their class on relationships if they still offer it and if I'm not too old.
