Kurzbeschreibung

This is the journey begun by a teenager who had a question about a UFO sighting.

This is the story of that boy who became a UFO investigator and used every opportunity he had to investigate cases throughout the United States.

This is a report on investigations as diverse as the Carroll Wayne Watts contact case and the Roswell UFO crash.

This is a history of UFO research from the mid-1960s until today, told by someone who was there and who saw much of it himself.

This is the account of a researcher who fought to let the facts speak for themselves in the midst of heated arguments within the UFO community

This is the memoir of an adult who found a few answers to the UFO mystery but in the process came face to face with dozens of new questions.

This is REFLECTIONS OF A UFO INVESTIGATOR by Kevin Randle.

KEVIN D. RANDLE is a retired military officer who served in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot and in Iraq as an intelligence officer. He has been investigating UFOs for more than 40 years and has traveled throughout the U.S. on his quest to learn the truth. He has written more than 20 books on UFOs, has interviewed hundreds of people about their experiences, and has lectured throughout the country about one of the most puzzling phenomenon in our times.

5.0 von 5 Sternen Reflections and revelations from a top UFO researcher 1. März 2012
Von Brad Steiger - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
From a high school boy reading UFO books in study hall to a tireless investigator searching for some glimpse of the true reality behind the greatest phenomenon of our time, Kevin Randle shares every foot of the path he has trod as a UFO investigator. From abductions to contactees, Randle tells it the way he sees it. Known to many as one of the researchers who made us reconsider the story of the UFO crash at Roswell, I found the chapters recreating his painstaking examination of the evidence for that controversial case particularly interesting. The Willingham investigation will serve as a caution to investigators who may make their conclusions too rapidly. If a case is too good to be true, it may well be just that...too good to be true. Randle presents us with the balanced casebook of a top investigator of the UFO enigma.
4.0 von 5 Sternen A good book in need of a good editor 1. Juli 2014

An interesting read that touches on some of the more interesting UFO and UFO-related stories. I like the author's approach that lays out the facts and lets the reader interpret them. I definitely recommend it to others who want to get a feel for the life of a UFO enthusiast and researcher. The book was really crying for an editor that would do two things: 1) Proof read the document and correct the grammatical errors; they were numerous and by chapter 14 became egregious, and 2) Help the author to determine which perceived slights were so innocuous that responding to them appeared petty (for an example, refer to the section about Stan Friedman's use of the word "black" referring to an NCO). Some of the rebuttals would have been better left out or captured as footnotes. At points the "correct the record" vignettes seemed gratuitous and detracted from the flow of the story.
5.0 von 5 Sternen Level headed and well written. 6. Februar 2014

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Mr.Randel's recollections and his current thinking on some of the most important UFO investigations of the last 30-plus years. I am grateful for his dedication to the truth and for his clear and precise articulation of the events and conversations of his investigations. He is respectful of the facts and gives others credit, when it is due. I highly recommend this book. It belongs on your shelf if you are interested in quality UFO information.

This book is elementary at best. It tries to cover a number of UFO sightings but to anyone who knows a little bit about them, it is elementary and barely covers each subject. For example, Roswell is covered, but only superficially.
