Running a successful tattoo parlor in the city keeps Mark Forester busy during the daylight hours but lonely at night in his bed. These days Mark even misses his perpetually late and forgetful assistant Tangee who moved to the small town of Brac Village with his lover. When Mark's grandfather dies, his last living relative, he decides to take Tangee and Loco up on their invitation for a visit.

It's easy to figure out pretty quickly that everyone in the gorgeous mansion is gay. Though Mark is straight he's firmly of the live and let live persuasion so the visit goes smoothly. Never being interested in another man puts Mark in an awkward position however when he sees Caden McQueen for the first time. All he wants to do from the moment they meet is throw the lush lipped hottie on a flat surface and have his way with him. Total confusion for Mark's mind, his libido is another matter. He wants Caden, bad.

The youngest wolf shifter in the Brac pack Caden hates being treated as the baby even though he can't deny he's naïve and a virgin. He knows the moment their eyes connect that Mark is his mate so when Mark disappears without saying a word Caden fears the worst, that his mate is refusing to accept their relationship.

Mark decides to get his business responsibilities in order before he squares things with Caden. If that isn't enough to deal with there's one more little surprise that pops up out of nowhere and it's a real doozy. Hold onto your seat because this is going to be one helluva wild ride for these mates.

Troubles, tensions, and testosterone boil over with incredible results in Mark's Not Gay. In this storyline the idea of falling in love with someone regardless of gender is explored. As always the characters in the series are charming, the pacing is fast, and the story is enjoyable. Mark's Not Gay has some fun twists and turns, as well as a few very anxious, dangerous moments. This series never fails to entertain.

Out of the Brac Pack series this is probably one of my top favorites, Lynn Hagen just took everything and turned it upside down. The bit of variety you get from the rest of the series was enough to get me to read through it three times! The role reversal, the title and summary making you think you know what the conflict is going to be to lead to the climax of the couple. I went in fully expecting one thing and was pleasantly surprised that it turned out a whole other way.

I've read the entire series but I skipped this story because I thought it would be corny. Thank goodness I was wrong about the story. I truly enjoyed this book. Now on the other hand I do suggest you skip Nutter Nero. It's boring and totally stupid but all other books in the Brac Pack series is worth the money.
