Kurzbeschreibung

15. Oktober 2012
This book presents comprehensive coverage of project finance in Europe and North America. The Second Edition features two new case studies, all new pedagogical supplements including end-of-chapter questions and answers, and insights into the recent market downturn. The author provides a complete description of the ways a project finance deal can be organized-from industrial, legal, and financial standpoints - and the alternatives available for funding it. After reviewing recent advances in project finance theory, he provides illustrations and case studies. At key points Gatti brings in other project finance experts who share their specialized knowledge on the legal issues and the role of advisors in project finance deals. This is forword by William Megginson, Professor and Rainbolt Chair in Finance, Price College of Business, The University of Oklahoma. It offers comprehensive coverage of theory and practice of project finance as it is practiced today in Europe and North America. Website contains interactive spreadsheets so that readers can input data and run and compare various scenarios, including up to the minute treatment of the cutting-edge areas of PPPs and the new problems raised by Basel II related to credit risk measurement.

5.0 von 5 Sternen A must-read for Project Finance 4. Juni 2013
Von TheKaspa - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format:Gebundene Ausgabe
This is not the only good book about PF, but it's the only one that is able to explain everything in a quick and complete way.
Nothing is taken from granted (resulting sometimes in boring passages, where the reader already understand the topic) and everythng is explained in layman words.

Von Leonardo - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format:Gebundene Ausgabe
The book gives a clear idea of the different methodologies used to organize project finance deals and of the role of the various parties involved.

It analyses both legal and financial aspects related to project finance in a very comprehensive way, also through useful examples and case studies.

Advisable to both students addressing the subject for the first time and to professionals willing to deepen their knowledge of specific areas of Project financing.

Von Alan - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format:Gebundene Ausgabe
This book is a must have for anyone interested in project finance:

(1) First, it very well written and it really seems to hear Mr. Gatti in the background when you are reading it;

(2) Then, it is a perfect blend of theory and practice: the case studies are really helpful in fixing the ideas and in understanding how Project Finance works in the real world;

(3) Last, it is an update edition and it takes into consideration the aspects which are more important in the current distressed economic environment.

5.0 von 5 Sternen Excellent Book 6. Februar 2013
Von San - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verifizierter Kauf
Covers all the basics and complex concepts & scenarios for project finance. I read and refer this book almost every day. I have shown the book to experienced project finance professional, and they have assured me that this book covers all the topics which they use in their profession.

A step by step approach to project finance. And the fact that the book was updated in 2012 was one of the criteria for me to buy this book; since it captures the challenges of present market condition.
