Dieses Buch und die hervorragende online Dokumentation sind der Schlüssel das QT-Framework zu erlernen. Eigentlich genügt ja die online Dokumentation aber das Buch hilft dabei die grundsätzliche Funktionsweise des QT Frameworks zu verstehen und dadurch die API richtig zu verwenden.

This book is great for learning Qt. It doesn't teach C++, so programmers should learn the basics beforehand. Although, a sample application is developed throughout the book the way the application modules are presented in the book make it fairly easy to reuse them in one's own projects. This gives the book kind of a reference book touch and allows you to just jump to the topic addressing your current problem and you will find a reference implementation for every day problems that is independent of all the other modules.

This book is very good if you already know how to program in other languages or C++.
It shows/introduces the possibilities of Qt with nice code examples and additionally a lot of daily GUI programming problems are addressed.
All in all great book!
