I finally found a copy of Prince Joe and it didn't disappoint. A European Crown Prince is targeted by terrorists and as he is the spitting image of Lt. Joe "Cat" Catalonotto, Joe is enlisted to pose as the Crown Prince, and hopefully become the target so that the would-be assassins can be caught.
Veronica St. John is Prince Tedric's media assistant, and it's her job to transform the rough, New Jersey-accented Joe into Prince material. Although Veronica is strongly attracted to Joe, and viceversa, each believes that their worlds are just too different for a relationship to ever work.
As time goes by and the two are thrown together, Joe and Veronica realize that the danger of their mission might mean that they don't have a future together, even if they wished to.
This is a great book, the characters are well drawn and we meet several of the men who have their own stories told in the SEALs' later books. Joe Cat and Veronica are characters to cheer for.

I aboslutely love this book and must have read it a dozen times. Joe is the most amazing, complex, sexy hero you could ask for and Veronica at first seems to be so reserved and stand-offish, but wow, do things heat up! This is the first book in the TDD (Tall, Dark and Dangerous) series and I can't believe they just keep getting better and better with each adventure. I love them all and can't wait for Lucky's book, which is next, but Joe Cat has a very special place in my heart. When an author makes you care about, remember and want to re-read about a character, you know you've found one terrific author. Keep up the marvelous work, Suzanne. And thanks from the bottom of my heart. (Yes, the one last skips a few beats thinking about a certain Navy SEAL.)

After the first few pages, I was afraid this book was about going to be an ode on the army. Well, it turned out to be one of the most "complete" romances I have read in quite some time: super mix of hard action, suspense and feelings (not only the kind between man & woman!). Those SEALs are incredible. Men-machines or modern knights? Anyway, great action-romance. I aim to find out if the other books in this TDD-series are as good.
