I have been working with the scanner for some time now, absolutely love it. You can configure the five buttons to scan to whatever settings you have saved for them automatically, for example: I have one setting that scans to a 300 dpi .jpg or one that scans directly to searchable pdf.
Another feature that makes my workflow really smooth is the ADF is, it works very well and is extremely useful to have the papers just pulled in one by one. Works well with quite a pile.
So actually this scanner would get five stars from me, however:
1) It is fairly bulky. But most scanners with ADF-option are, I guess
2) The software that is needed is simply horrible! There are different pieces of software, I had to reinstall and search the whole weird software-window several times; it is by far the most dreadful and least usability-friendly piece of s...oftwareI have ever seen. In order to make the settings for the buttons I needed more time than scanning 100 pages manually. and I just had to reset it, a part of it is not working any longer, so the whole installation and set-up horror starts again.
