Das Buch ist gut aufgebaut und als Eröffnungssystem auf fast alle Eröffnungen zu empfehlen. Gerade für Schachspieler , die nicht so viel Zeit auf Eröffnungen verwenden wollen ideal.

This is the best book on N-C6 that I am aware of. I started playing these lines as a kid because in my area this opening was popular. Meyers is a well known N C6 expert and I played against him and going over our game he convinced me that this may not be the best opening but it is hard to play against if you are not prepared. I have a lot of material on this opening and if you play these kind of lines then you must have this book. I like how it was organized and it is easy to read. It helped to bring my other material into focus. Meyers has his own book on N-C6 but this one is 10 times better.

Excellent chess book

I highly recommend this book to all those chess players who want a complete black repertoire in one book . You can play 1...Nc6 against anything White throws at you and let tactics then decide. The first part of the book( up to about page 93 ) covers the 1. e4 Nc6 lines . The next section (pages 94-186) is the Chigorin defense which is an excellent choice but requires much study. Pages 213-263 covers 1.c4 and 1. Nf3 . My rating has jumped a couple hundred points by studying this book along with my White repertoire book . Good luck !

This book on 1....Nc6! is interesting. The off beat lines might surprise players and might be a good weapon
as Black. But only at the class A level or below.
Hugh Myers [Rest in Peace] also wrote on this opening and this book and I have studied his various openings and could always fine improvements for White. [He sometimes beat me anyway but not because of the opening]
This particular book is fun to read. But at a higher level there are alternate moves to usually give White
a normal opening advantage or more.
I give it 4 stars for Class A or lower players and 3 stars for experts or above. 3 1/2 stars.
Wish they would allow a 3 1/2 or 4 1/2 rating.
