... or worst - everything depends on the point of view.
Ok - let's look what the cat brought in this time. Here we have two very good written short stories about our favourite Aberdeen's Finest, DI Roberta Steel and DS Logan McRae. Following - as a bonus material - are the first chapters of the new book featuring them Close to the Bone (Special Edition) (Logan McRae, Book 8) which will enter the bookshops in the Middle of January 2013. Until then - a bit of patience, and content Yourselves with the stories...
In the first one "DI Steel's Bad Heir Day" it is DC Allan Gurthy who has the pleasure to go with our much-more-pissed-off than usual heroine in search of a missing husband. And it's the day before Christmas and there will be not only happy surprises for the two of them. Full of darkest humour - a very entertaining read.
The second story "Stramash", some kind of upheavel, takes place on the usually very nice Island of Jura - but we find DI Steel in the middle of some kind of hurricane on holidays with her partner. And poor Laz McRae had to drive for days and sleep in the car to join them. Because there's something very but very "fishy" going on. This story is much more filled with crime than the first one - but the blackest humour our author is able to pull out of the head makes it a hilarious read.
