Item description
These very rigid (240 my!) self-adhesive vinyl films were specially designed for car paintwork to protect from rock chips and scratches. The sheets come square cut. The material is a clear polymeric PVC, outdoor life is 7 - 10 years under european weather conditions. With permanent solvent adhesive.
The vinyl will withstand all weather conditions, UV exposure, gasoline, oil, salt water. Suitable for wet or dry application.
Installation instructions
- Thoroughly clean the surface.
- Stick on the vinyl film (can be applied dry or with soap water).
- Roughly cut the edges.
- If neccessary, use a hot air blower to heat up the film to about 80 °C / 176 °F. The film gets highly flexible and can be streteched.
- Cut the remaining edges and you are done.
