I choose a CA seller, since the shipping cost indicated Media Mail, and that can take a week or more cross country. The book arrived in 4 days. The outer package was a lightweight craft paper envelope, but inside the book was neatly packed in bubble wrap and then fitted into a solid cardboard sleeve. It was in near-fine condition, better than I expected from a 1987 first edition.
Norton uses fairly thin dust jackets and lightweight paper for its doorstop anthologies, and they don't always wear well, though that's not true of this one. I saved a few dollars compared to new copies available from other Amazon sellers and got a book that is nearly new.
