Nixon military coup under auspices of repealing 22nd Amendm
This was the first "New World Order" book of this decade. Most other authors draw from its content, though few give credit. Evangelist Pat Robertson did quote me in his book, "New World Order." The basic premise is that there was contingency planning within the Nixon White House to create circumstances which would allow Prez. Nixon to remain in office past the end of his second term. One such plan was hidden beneath numerous cover committees, the topmost of which was called "The Committee to Repeal the 22nd Amendment." Interestingly, just such a repeal proposal was recently introduced in Congress in January 1999. Not that it's a serious threat, and I'm in no way a Y2K-paranoid, but the Clintons have shown the propensity to copy the way Nixon handled power.

I read this book a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it even going so far as to insert many of my own footnotes. It is extremely well-documented, but as with any book, bold statements about individuals and organizations need to be further validated - which I personally have not taken the time to do. I, like many others, have for a long time had an understandably reasonable suspicion of secret organizations. It's the kind of thing you would expect children to invent rather than adults unless there are some sinister motives behind them. My suspicisions lend appeal to the book. Also, it is interesting how he fits many pieces of a puzzle together. By reading this book, some premillennialist Christians might better see how secret societies could work toward the rise of a predicted world government leader with dictatorial status. I would like to know more about the background of the author. Read the book to become more vigilant in your observations of our world, but at the same time, maintain caution against fanaticism. pyronox@msn.com

As usual, Bill Still, author of The MoneyMasters, delivers an insightful and well researched and documented piece exposing the misnomer of the New World Order, and reveals that there is nothing "new" about it. This book should shake all thinking Christians into an understanding of the scripture's admonition that the world is truly in the hands of the evil one, and should awaken us to the urgency of corectly discerning the times we are now living in. Be forewarned though that it is now for Pollyanna spiritual simpletons who would tend to find this just another conspiracy ranting, as they would the truth in any other form as well

The New World Order concept is often times described by authors or pundits in vague terms; William Still's superb book outlines things in stark black and white. The book was deftly written, with a strong attention to historic detail. Still's research on the subject comes through strongly... giving the reader an education on issues which are right under our individual noses in everyday life.If you want a good primer on the New World Order concept, this book makes for a great and educational read. Additionally, the information it contains pertaining to the possibility of a military takeover of the former Nixon administration is chilling. All in all, a great book on a vitally important topic.
