Neighbours at War is an interesting collection of insights on the war in former Yugoslavia.
Different authors from different countries and backgrounds discuss possible causes of the war from a historical and anthropological point of view.
I found the book very fascinating as it approaches the subject from different angles and therefore offers a good overview of different perceptions of the conflict.
It illustrates very well that there is never only one cause, but always an interaction of different factors that can lead to such a horrorfying event.
