loved every second of it. It starts slow, but when it really gets rolling, it makes the King Arthur legends begin to pale in comparison. I was very disapointed when I reached the end. I wanted MORE, MORE! Have fun reading it!

I loved this book. The legends et cetera, were very interesting. But I didn't pay much attention to the history bits. Other than that it was quite a cool book. I've always been very interested in Celtic myths and this book gave me a few to chew on.

OK, so this is a really old book: pre-1900. The author seems like an old professor attempting to make sense of old Celtic legends. He rattles on trying to describe what he and his contemporaries have put together from old stories and myths. Some are presented as prose; others are a short abridged version of a longer tale. In actuality, the author is trying to make sense of very old stories handed down for generations and is failing miserably. Not worth my time.
