One of the most challenging endurance races you can do is a half Ironman or better known as an Ironman 70.3. The race consists of a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride and finishes off with a 13.1 mile run. Before I began my journey at completing one I wanted to find books, articles or videos that would help me prepare for what I was about to attempt. Unfortunately, the only thing I could find was about professional athletes whose full time job was to train and prepare for this race. So once I completed my race I wanted to get something out there that could help the average athlete prepare and understand what could happen during training as well as during the actual race.
