I waited more than 15 years for the re-publication of this book - and it was worth the wait. This is a first hand and very personal account of military logistics in the 1991 Gulf war. If you expect to be able to transfer the lessons from this book directly to your daily logistics business you will be disappointed. But if you want to get insight into military logistics and leadership it is a must-read. Altogether I can highly recommend this book.
The best book to date on military logistics.Explains in detail how the U.S. Army was able to accomplish it's mission in supplying over half a million troops when and where it was needed.Gen.Pagonis has written an excellent guide for officers and NCO's involved in logistics.
