He speaks of his love of playing for his country and the love and support of his family, as well as the sad moments in his life such as the death of his father. The book also shows glimpses of him training and enjoying his leisure time, the charity work he involves himself in, as well as off-field activities in both his professional capacity and for pleasure. He hopes that through these stories, and beautiful photographs by Jorge Monteiro, you will get to know Cristiano Ronaldo a little better. Sondern auch ein Mensch. Allzu oft wird vergessen, dass hinter dem Namen Cristiano Ronaldo nicht nur der weltbeste Fussballer steht, sondern einfach ein junger Mann, der leidenschaftlich gern Fussball spielt und damit verbunden einige spannende Erlebnisse und Momente. Der Titel ist Programm und zwischen dem sehr einfach gehaltenen Schreibstil und schönen Fotos findet man viel Menschlichkeit und einen Hauch von Magie. Ob er nun von Portugal erzählt oder von Manchester United, von seiner Kindheit oder vom Training, man hört ihm gerne zu. Man versteht auch die Begeisterung, die er für den Sport entgegenbringt und gleichzeitig die Bewunderung, die ihm zuteil wird.

Gestern habe ich das Buch "Moments" von Cristiano Ronaldo erhalten, und ich muss sagen - ich bin begeistert.
Das Buch ist groß (ca. 24x26 cm) und schwer, alle 176 Seiten sind auf Hochglanzpapier gedruckt, und es ist randvoll mit fantastischen Fotos!!!
Ronaldo selbst hat gesagt dass er noch zu jung ist um eine Autobiographie zu schreiben, und so ist "Moments" auch keine Auflistung von Daten, Zahlen und Fakten. Stattdessen hat er sich entschlossen einige Ereignisse seines (bisherigen) Lebens in kurzen Geschichten - und mit vielen Fotos bebildert - festzuhalten. Von seiner Zeit bei Sporting Lissabon bis zum Gewinn der Meisterschaft mit Manchester United, von Kindheitsträumen bis zum Tod seines Vaters, von der Berufung zum Kapitän der Nationalmannschaft Portugals bis zur alltäglichen Routine ... ein wirklich schöner Blick in das Leben eines Weltklasse-Fussballers.
Für Fans von Cristiano Ronaldo ist dieses Buch natürlich schon allein wegen der vielen bisher unveröffentlichten Fotos ein absolutes Muss!!!
