Looking at the table of contents, I thought this book would teach me how to interpret the counters in PerfMon to find a trouble spot. After reading 120 pages of this book I realized it had nothing to do with what I expected. The authors are masters of the obvious, and any network administrator with a bit of experience and common sense could have written this book. I have read many books by MSPress in the past and have found that for the most part are well written, I was sorely disappointed with this one. If you are a beginning network administrator and need to learn where bottlenecks occur, this book may be for you. For those of you who are more advanced, be warned.
