Here it is, the second and final part of the Soulfire story and the last pages penciled by Michael Turner.
The story continues with the journey of Mal to fulfill his destiny. We get to know some new characters and fancy places, follow the development of relationships and of course the training of Mal and the fight against Rainier. The story goes on following the pace it started in Part 1, thus it's fast, exciting and alltogether just fun to read.
The art is stunning as always, even though Michael Turner could not finish the series due to his tragic death. Thus at about half of the book the penciling is continued by Joe Benitez. It is of course not the same and the change in style is recognizable but Joe Benitez did a remarkable job. The coloring by Peter Steigerwald is just as astonishing as it ever was.
The book also contains a touching foreword by Peter Steigerwald and a cover gallery at the end. The quality of the print is very good.
For every fan of Michael Turner this is a must buy anyway, and for any comic fan I would say it is worth to have the last work of one of the greatest comic artists ...
