Henriette soon turns 14 years old. Her life pleases her very much. She likes playing football, has a best-friend Tanja and even maths is quite easy for her.
One day when she went home from school by tram, she has a short look at a boy in another tram. Unfortunately she couldn't see the number of that tram. But Tanja recognized him too. He seemed to be their maths teacher's son. How could she meet him again? Henri get a plan. She needs extra tuition. So her grade in maths takes a turn from A to E. Immediately her parents agree to the tuition ... and who can give them better than the maths teacher's son? Everything seems to be so simple, thinks Henri. But the boy sitting in front of her explaining maths isn't the boy she saw on the tram. How could she find him now? And how could she stop extra tuition with boring Dietmar?
Maths, stress and a lovesick heart is a nice book for girls in the age of 12 till 15 who want to improve their English by entertainment. Each of the 204 pages contains a few words on the bottom which are already translated. So you don't have to look up in the dictionary all the time. The words are chosen in a mid-level and there is a lot of speech, teenagers are used into the street. It's a pity there isn't a CD available as in German.
