I have just finished reading "A Man Approved of God" by Dr. David Keyser. This book deals with the question of "How can Jesus be both man and God at the same time?" More importantly, "Is it necessary for Jesus to be both God and man?" Dr. Keyser does a brilliant job of investigating these questions and giving answers that add meaning to our lives. If you are looking for a book that makes the gospel of Christ relevant to your life, this is the one for you. I highly recommend it.

Dr. Keyser has met an incredible need in the Body of Christ through his book, A Man Approved of God. After reading this book, I realize the significance of understanding the humanity of Jesus. This book clearly explains Jesus as fully God, yet fully man, and helps all humanity relate to a real Jesus who knew what it meant to walk in human flesh. A Man Approved of God is a must for all pursuing a desire to know who Jesus really is.

Why did Jesus ask where Lazarus was placed? Why was Jesus so often astonished and amazed at the things he saw while He went about His earthly ministry? I never truly understood the humanity of Jesus Christ, God incarnate, until I read this book. So many questions about Jesus' earthly ministry were made clear for me in reading this book. This is a must read for every Christian. The truths revealed by Keyser have deeply impacted my walk with Jesus. Keyser makes these deep truths easy to understand without losing the impact. It is a quick read, but you will want to read it again to make sure you did not miss anything the first time.
