This guide was really excellent. It is very precise and gives you the information that you really nead. It is up-to-date and all the recommendations for restaurants and places are worth visitng. It doesn't have pictures, but the descriptions are more that sufficient. What I really liked about this guide was that it gives you information on how to reach all the places very easy. It is a good travel guide for first time visitors, as well as for peole who are there for second or third time.

This is the last time we buy Lonely Planet!! This guide is a clear sign, what the matter is with this publishing house:
Information out of date (ENTIRE information abaout the transport system on Malta was completely inaccurate)
Pages filled up with rubbish places just so that you get a few pages filled (Marsaloxx - a must see, really??)
But the worst thing was, this is a travel guide for so called ruscksack tourists and all they can recommend are hotels that cost ¤200 a night???!!?
Time out is a much better series - serious, relevant and true to itself. LP bye bye!

Kann über das Buch nicht klagen, hat alle Informationen, die man so für einen Urlaub auf Malta braucht. Jene sind sehr gut dargestellt und auch aktuell.

It hasn't got many pictures, but the information is more than enough, basically all you need to know if you travel to Malta or any of the other small islands around.
