This book appeared in our home, probably handed down from a cousin, and was about to be donated to the library when my wife decided to hold on to it for our son. He picked it off the shelf one day when he was about a year old, brought it to us to read to him, and he has been in love with it ever since. Yes, the text is silly and has little to do with the images at times, but it amuses my son (now almost two) and caught his imagination. He now picks up the book himself to look at the pictures and "read" the text (he's actually got most of it memorized) and I just love the fact that he's being exposed to great art so young. Bravo to the publishers for this book and this series.
