Used with past Transcender questions, it's a bomber. Excellent revision tool. Not entirely error free but a very useful tool in preparing for my exams which I passed with flying grades! Easy reading though I was confused in a couple of places. Note that NT hardware (hard drive) requirements will vary from 110MB - 120MB depending on installation mode. Pick an answer within that range. I particularly found the Exam Prep tips very useful. For example the book helps you to identify wrong answers heads on, and advises not to get bogged down with scenario questions and leave them for last. Elementary you say, but it's often difficult to remember that in testing situations. I definitely will use other MCSE Dummy books in addition to others in completing my exams.

I have passed 4 certification tests with the dummies books (server, workstation, enterprise, and a+ certification)and i will use these books to finish off my MCSE. They tell you just the information you need to pass the tests in an easy to read manner. The only reason i didn't give it 5 stars is that there are some errors on the practice questions on the cd-rom. The other reason is the practice questions are too easy and not worded like the actual test.

This is my first purchase of an IDG book to study for a certification test, and I'm afraid it will be the last. The informations was not always presented clearly and I found the editing to be terrible. Not to mention that I could not always count on the information to be accurate. Go somewhere else if you need a book to help you study for this exam.

Excelent book if you want to pass the test
