This was the first in this series that I have had the chance to read. I will definitely be going back to read the first two.

On his day off, Jeremiah decided to drive in to the Synagogue to do a little work. On his way there, he was rear-ended by another car. As the accident happened, Jeremiah caught a glimpse of the other driver in his rear view mirror. Was it his imagination or was the other driver already dead before the impact?

For once, Cindy is the one to come out and help Jeremiah. Against his wishes, she called in homicide detective Mark Walters to help get to the bottom of this.

This was a breathtaking story that really takes you along for a wild ride.

No matter your religious beliefs, this is a cozy mystery that will keep you completely engrossed.

Out of all of the books in this series, this is my favorite so far. Ms. Viguie manages to keep the reader engaged and excited to see what happens to Cindy and Jeremiah next. The book sets a good pace for the mystery and is a page turner. Cindy and Jeremiah's ability to find strength in themselves and each other through their faith moves the books along. I cannot wait to see what Ms. Viguie has in store of these protagonists next. What a great ride!

This is the first one I have read of the series but I will definitely be back for more, except that the others are pricey for ebooks. Great characters, good action and adventure. Religious references were not overbearing like they can be in some Christian fiction. I didn't feel like I needed to read the earlier books in the series to enjoy it, the current story was fine as a stand alone.
