I simply cannot believe I am the first reviewer of this book!This book should be on the shelf of every mathematician interested in geometry, every computer graphics specialist, everyone interested in solid modelling. For ten bucks, you get a great summary of a wide range of topics in "classical differential geometry" -- the stuff geometers were interested in one hundred years ago. Today it's gauge and string theory -- but the topics discussed in this book are timeless, and many have seen remarkable renaissances in recent years. It is a wonderful little book ... I am using it to teach a basic differential geometry course next year.

This book is indead great as the person posting a comment right before me has already pointed out.
Anayway, as mentioned in the heading, I would dearly like to give you a warning or recommendation, whatever way seems more suitable to you: This book does cover a lot of topics but sometimes the explanation are a bit difficult to understand entirely. Sometimes several steps are also a bit intricate to comprehend, and some calculations while talking about examples just skip important steps. The last remark to be made is the following: As a foreigner, you have to have a good understanding not of the English language itself but make sure you know the mathematical vocabulary.
Nevertheless, when having worked through a whole section very well, you WILL understand what Mr. Struik is talking about. Apart from very few exceptions, the included figures can be found utterly useful.
