Read this when I was a college kid and I enjoyed how practical it was. Now that I work in organizational development, I was amazed at how true and how empowering it was seeing it again with years of experience later. Great primer on how to lead others. If you've never read a leadership book before, get this one. It reads fast, it's easy to learn, and easy to implement.

Good book. It provided practical information in a logical and well thought-out manor. It wasn't too wordy and got right to the point. It didn't insult the reader's intelligence, like so many other development books, by reciting countless case studies one after another. It was a great mixture of conceptual ideas and applicable techniques.

This book is full of wisdom. The examples the author uses are just detailed enough to communicate everything. The book is blessedly brief. I soaked it in across 2 hours. Wish other books were just as concise!!

I give 5 stars to the concept of situational leadership, but the book falls short on every aspect, they were trying to do a novel, or to explain the concept with a short story but it's boring and shallow. I wish they would just write a book about situational leadership without mixing it with a dull story.
